Haute Couture Fashion Week Day 3 (With Pictures)

The fashion shows continued today, and unlike my previous posts, I actually managed to recap the shows the same day. Yay! So, here are my recaps of some of the shows that were held today:

Chanel kicked off the day with a major slot on the timetable – 10 am to 1 pm! Only Chanel would be able to do that. Anyway, Lagerfeld definitely created a beautful collection – topping off everything with a boater hat. As always, the fashion show was held at Grand Palais in Paris. The set is always elaborate, and this time they chose to put the Eiffel Tower inside the hall and create a complete parisian garden underneath the glass ceiling. To see the complete collection, go to Vogue.com. Here are my favorite looks from the collection:

Alexis Mabille followed Chanel at 1.30 pm. He showed off a collection that immediately turned me into a fan. My favorite looks are below, and if you want to see the whole collection, here’s a link Vogue.com.

Stéphane Rolland, Julien Fournié, Ulyana Serkeenko and Alexandre Vauthier followed with their collections throughout the day. Then at 6 pm, Giorgio Armani Privé debuted a new, and stunning, collection. The full collection is over at Vogue.com.

Now there’s only one day left of Paris Fashion Week. However, some of the best designers are showing tomorrow, including Elie Saab, Jean Paul Gaultier, Viktor&Rolf, Zuhair Murad, Ziad Nakad, Valentino and Fendi. It’s going to be bliss.
